June 24, 2022

12:17am Assist Other Agency

Deputies assisted units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol in the pursuit of a 2012 Honda Odyssey that fled from a Trooper on US Route 33 near Beecher Gamble Road. The vehicle was later located at the residence of the registered owner and the juvenile driver was taken into custody.

8:04am Injury Crash

Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department were dispatched to the 12000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate an injury crash involving a 2012 Red F-350 pulling a trailer that was struck from behind by a 2019 Honda Insight. The driver of the Honda, Dylan S. Given, age 19 of Marysville was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead. A crash report was taken, #80-22-263.

8:59am Assist Another Agency/Person with a Gun

Deputies assisted an officer from the Richwood Police Department with a report of a person walking down the street with a long gun. No report was taken.

11:33am Bond Violation

A deputy was dispatched to the Adult Probation Office on State Route 4 to take custody of John J. Potts, age 33 of Springfield on a Bond Violation. The male was transported Tri County Regional Jail.

12:13pm Property Damage Crash

A deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Miller Road and Osborne Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Honda CR-V that failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox. The driver of the Honda, Susan A. Friedhof, age 44 of Richwood was issued a citation for failure to yield. A crash report was taken, #80-22-264.

12:54pm Burglary In Progress

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of El Camino Lane to investigate a possibly burglary in progress. No report was taken.

1:05pm Dispute

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on South Main Street, in Magnetic Springs to investigate a dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend. No report was taken.

3:00pm Domestic

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on West State Street, in Milford Center to investigate a domestic dispute between mother and son. The juvenile was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center. A report was taken, #22-0515.

4:37pm Injury Crash/Assist Another Agency

Deputies assisted units from The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Northwestern Fire District and Northern Union County Joint Fire and EMS District in investigating an injury crash that occurred on State Route 31 near Richwood Miller Road. The Ohio State Highway Patrol took the crash report.

8:22pm Dispute

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Northwest Parkway to investigate a dispute between ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend. No report was taken.

 

June 25, 2022

5:21am Injury Crash

A deputy and units from the Pleasant Valley Joint Fire and EMS District and the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 15000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road to investigate an injury crash involving a 2021 Ford F-150 that swerved to avoid deer, drove off the roadway, struck a ditch and tree. A report was taken, #80-22-265.

10:25am Dispute

Deputies were dispatched to the railroad crossing on Johnson Road near Darby Pottersburg Road to investigate a dispute between a motorist and a railroad employee. The parties were separated, and no report was taken.

3:25pm Property Damage Crash

Deputies and units from the Southeast Hardin/Northwest Union Joint Fire District responded to the 30000 block of State Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 1993 Ford F-150 that drove off the roadway, struck a ditch and several trees. The juvenile driver was issued a traffic citation for failure to control a motor vehicle. A crash report was taken. #80-22-266.

6:28pm Criminal Damage

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of County Home Road to investigate damage to a vehicle. A report was taken, #22-0516.

9:16pm Theft

A deputy went to a residence in the 10000 block of Ketch Road to investigate a theft of jewelry. A report was taken, #22-0517.

 

June 26, 2022

4:11am Property Damage Crash

Deputies were dispatched to the 21000 block of State Route 245 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Honda Pilot that swerved to miss an animal and struck a road sign and then a boulder. The driver of the Honda, Annam M. Johnson, age 43 of North Lewisburg was issued a citation for failure to control. A crash report was taken, #80-22-267.

9:52am Criminal Damaging

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Johnson Road to investigate a report of damage to a mailbox. No report was taken.

10:41am Dispute

A deputy investigated an ongoing dispute between ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend that occurred at a residence in the 14000 block of County Home Road. No report was taken.

12:40pm Injury Crash

Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department responded to State Route 347 near State Route 4 to investigate an injury crash involving a 2014 Toyota Rav4 that struck several mailboxes due to the driver having a medical emergency. One patient was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, and a crash report was taken, #80-22-268.

5:52pm Social Media Harassment

A deputy investigated a report of threatening messages received on a social media app that occurred at a residence in the 11000 block of US Route 36. No report was taken.

8:33pm Stolen Vehicle

A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 14000 block of Smart Cole Road to investigate the theft of a 2008 Ford F-250 that was take from the storage lot. A report was taken, #22-0518.
