RIDGEWAY – Max Parris poured in 22 points on 10 baskets and two free throws to help lift North Union to a 57-42 win over Ridgemont in boys non-league varsity basketball play Tuesday.
Parris had six points at the half, then knocked down four jumpers in the third and three more in the fourth while going 2-of-3 from the line.
Ridgemont led 15-13 after one, but the Wildcat defense clamped down and allowed the hosts a total of just 14 points over the next two periods to take the game out of reach.
Nolan Draper and Miles Hall both ended with eight points for the Wildcats and Hall drained a 3-point shot for the winners.
Stuck scored 11 points for the Golden Gophers.
North Union is now 4-5 on the season and remains 1-2 in the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division.
The Wildcats play again Friday in Richwood when they host Northwestern in a CBC MRD game at 7:30 p.m.
