Fairbanks Seeks to Expand Field House and Implement Traffic Intervention Strategies Following Public Input

Fairbanks Local School District is a great source of pride in the community and we are grateful for the support our residents provide year after year.  In order to protect our residents’ investment in our schools, we analyze the way we do business to ensure we deliver on the quality and efficiency our community expects, including our school buildings.

Fairbanks Local Schools is beginning two short-term projects over the coming months, an extension to our field house and traffic intervention strategies during peak drive times. Both projects will support student safety and enhance positive school experiences. These projects will be funded by existing funds not impacting district residents’ taxes.  You can find more information about these projects at: www.fairbanks.k12.oh.us/master-facility-planning.

There will be two opportunities to learn more about these projects with Superintendent Adham Schirg. Both meetings will be held in the Middle School/High School Media Center located at 11158 SR 38, Milford Center.

The first will be on Monday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m., and the second will be on Monday, July 19 at 6 p.m. prior to the regular Board of Education Meeting. Please email Mr. Schirg at adhamschirg@fairbankspanthers.org with any questions.
